As we all know, animals are close friends of human beings. Their existence, especially 1. the existence of rare animals(珍稀动物的存在) makes the whole world lively and colorful.
Unfortunately, we recently heard that rare animals in the zoo couldn’t escape being hurt, even being killed without mercy, at which we could feel nothing but shocked. 2. The reason why it happened (发生这种事情的原因是)is that some people lack understanding about these animals and caring for them.
3. In my opinion(在我看来), we should pay more attention to the importance of protecting rare and endangered animals. What’s more, 4. we should take active and effective measures(我们应该采取积极有效的措施) to protect them. After all, protecting animals is protecting ourselves.
