Howard Carter is one of the most famous explorers the world has ever known. He was bright and (1) ____ about the world outside his hometown. At the age of 17, he (2)____ ____ ____Alexandria, Egypt. Within seven years, 21 people who had (5) ____ to do with the opening of the tomb died.
