3） Pierre and I did have a very good time at the ball. (do/does/did +动词原形，用来加强谓语动词的语气， 可以翻译成“的确，真的”。do还可放在祈使句的动词前，表示“务必，一定”)
4） A new dress costs over four hundred francs. (sth cost (sb) time/money 某物花费某人时间/金钱)
5） Joe’s brave action cost him his life. (sth cost sb sth 使某人失去……)
6） Years of hard work, very little food, only a small cold room to live in and never, never a moment’s rest. ( 动词不定式作定语要与前面所修饰的名词有逻辑关系)
