(2013·黑龙江哈尔滨四校高三统一检测)Sometimes I just don't want to go to work.I can bet everyone could have that thought from time to time, even if you love what you do.The problem comes when you find that you feel unmotivated, discouraged,or unhappy about your job nearly every day. When you are unhappy about your job,it can affect your performance, health, relationships and psychological wellbeing.
People have many different reasons for feeling unhappy at work. The most common reasons given by employees are:
●Feeling overloaded with the work that was once done by more workers.
●Feeling that extra efforts,working hard,and taking initiative(积极性)are not recognized.
●Believing that there are few opportunities for personal growth within the organization.
No employee can be satisfied with work all the time. But employees can have some impact on their level of job satisfaction if they can determine how to shape the job to work better for them and the company.Below are some ideas for increasing job satisfaction:
●Be aware of the negative selftalk that influences your feelings about your work and try to change it.If you spend all day thinking about your frustrations,it can influence how well you cope with job challenges.
●Be a problem solver.Think about how you can make improvements.
●Even if you don't like this job, decide to always do your best and improve your skills for other opportunities.
●Identify and focus more on the parts of your job that make you satisfied than on the things that you don't like. These could be certain tasks that you enjoy or perhaps coworkers that you like.
