语法填空是近几年广东卷的必考题型，考查的内容多数比较简单。但是对于新课标范围内的考生来说是一种具有挑战性的试题，它不同于单项选择，需要考生理解较长的上下文语境，并且根据语境猜想出合适的单词填空，并不提供备选项，这无疑增加了难度。但是只要考生能够正确理解文章，具有一定的词汇基础，本题相对阅读理解和短文改错来说是简单的。
