There was once a farmer who had a large field of corn. He worked in it with the greatest 1 , for he wanted to sell the corn and 2 good things for his family with the money. Though he had worked hard, he saw the corn become 3 , for no rain fell. He began to 4 that he was to have no crop. He was very  5 and was in a lot of pain. He went to look at the   6 crops in the field every day and 7 for rain to fall.
