3. as well as 也；又；还
是连词常用来连接主语、宾语、表语或状语等并列成分，一般不可置于句首，其侧重点在于前者。因此通常先译后者，再译前者，作”等解
He as well as his wife was invited to the party. 他和他的妻子都被邀请参加那个聚会啦。
具体用法如下：
1)as well as连接两个主语时，谓语动词的数须与前面的主语保持一致例如：
John, as well as his friends, hasn’t yet read the book.
约翰和他的朋友们一样，都没有读过那本书。
2）as well as连接两个谓语动词时，前后动词的时态须保持一致。
