《弱点》是一部励志电影 ，影片讲述 了美国国家橄榄球联盟首批入选球员之一迈克尔·奥赫的不凡经历。在从事体育职业之前，他经历了一段从理想到现实的艰难过程。
黑人男孩迈克尔·奥赫来到一家基督教学校学习，在新的环境中，他简直找不到北。在善良的陶西太太的帮助下，迈克尔逐渐找到了自我，并开始慢慢适应自己的新身份。
Michael Oher is a homeless black African boy who starts a new life in America. In a volleyball match, he offers to pick up garbage and the behaviour attracts the attention of Taocy’s family. Mrs Taocy decides to adopt him and bring him up into an outstanding American football player.
Facing the new environment: new neighbours, new school, brand new rugby coaches, Oher feels very confused and uncomfortable. In school, classmates are not so friendly and he is often bullied (欺侮). However, with the help of Taocy’s family，Oher gradually finds himself. He begins to slowly integrate (融入) into the group and bravely face the new challenge.
In the school’s American football team, Oher is the hardest one, and with his unique physical condition, he has gradually become the main leftback of the school team. At the NFL Professional League draft, Oher is selected by a team in Baltimore and becomes a professional American football player.
