This is the conclusion some medical researchers have recently reached after a six - year study on 34,000 people in California with focus on their dietary habits and heart diseases.
Compared with someone who never cares for nuts, the one who eats nuts such as peanuts and walnuts (胡桃) at least once a day has only 47 per cent chance of having heart trouble, according to one of the researchers.
Another report states that 60 per cent of all those who eat nuts regularly like to chew peanut either during or between meals.
