【1题详解】
细节理解题。根据Aral Sea中的“Although the Aral Sea occupied a vast area of about 68,000 square km for a long period of time,it’s believed to be less than 10% of its original site. (虽然在很长一段时间内,咸海占据了约68000平方公里的广阔区域,但据信它还不到原来的10%)”,以及Caspian Sea中的“The Caspian Sea is an enclosed water body,it is called “sea” probably because of its massive size of 371, 000 square km and its saltinss. (里海是一个封闭的水体,它被称为“海”可能是因为它的巨大面积37.1万平方公里和它的咸味)”,和Sal ton Sea 中的“The Sal ton Sea encompasses (包括) an area of 890 square km making it the largest lake in California. (索尔顿海的面积为890平方公里,是加州最大的湖泊)”及Sea of Galilee“It occupies an area of 166.7 square km in Israel. (它在以色列占有166.7平方公里的面积)”可知,通过数字对比可知,四个中第二大的是咸海。故选A项。
【2题详解】
