SARAH GAGLIANO
Sarah enjoys various outdoor activities in all seasons, including cycling and hiking. While exploring the various national parks in the Montreal area, she makes sure to bring her camera along and keeps her eyes for amazing wildlife photo opportunities. NATE TIEMER
Born in Berlin in 1938 and immigrating to Canada in 1957, Nate decided to further her education, first at a high school and then at the University of Toronto. At 67 she retired and started writing, ahobby to pursue. She wrote articles as a columnist for a few years and is still spreading her wingscreatively-read her charming story The Easter Bunny on page 23.

As a documentary film maker, photographer and adventurer, Brent, for the past 30 years, hassought out and explored abandoned, forgotten, but simply fascinating sites around the country. He hasalso taken his urban exploration to new heights by adding drone(无人机)videos, exploring andrecording everything from forgotten mining towns to “ghost tower” in downtown Toronto. JACKIE
For more than 30 years Jackie has enjoyed touring the world's seven continents. She built herown home on a gulf island off the coast of British Columbia, living there for upwards of 20 years.
About a decade ago, Jackie settled down in Sayward, on Vancouver Island, where she pursues herinterests of writing poetry and short stories, gardening and enjoying nature. Jackie shares herexperiences of life in Sayward in My Hometown on page 58.
