Visiting historic places is a great way to have fun and learn about history.Afavourite historic site in the state of Texas is “the Alamo”.On March 6,1836,a famous battle(战役) took place at the Alamo.A small group of soldiers from Texas fought a much larger army led by the Mexican General Santa Anna.Santa Anna’s army won the battle.The Alamo has exact copies of the weapons(武器) used during the battle.It also has instruments used during the War of Texas Independence.The Alamo is a really interesting place to visit.
