When Martha was first diagnosed with breast cancer she gave the phrase “Fight like a girl” new meaning.She was ¡¡1¡¡ she was going to watch her girls ¡¡2¡¡,get married and have ¡¡3¡¡.And she did.When the first grandchild,Austin,was born she could not have been more ¡¡4¡¡.Eventually there were eight grandchildren and she opened her arms to every ¡¡5¡¡ to their family. 

She lost her hair four times and ¡¡6¡¡ about it.The last time she had to shave her head,she ¡¡7¡¡ away from her youngest grandchild because she didn’t want him to be ¡¡8¡¡. 

This year her body began to show the wear and tear of the ¡¡9¡¡ but it didn’t affect her sweet ¡¡10¡¡ or her faith.Martha told me that she didn’t want people to be sad at her ¡¡11¡¡.She wanted them to be ¡¡12¡¡.But there is no way to get around the ¡¡13¡¡ I feel after losing her.My heart hurts with my ¡¡14¡¡ and for her family.With her passing,those of us who knew and loved her must ¡¡15¡¡ our arms around each other and try to be as ¡¡16¡¡ as she was.We must give thanks for the privilege and honor of knowing and ¡¡17¡¡ her. 

The world will keep turning.¡¡18¡¡ will go on,but I know without a doubt that the sun shines less ¡¡19¡¡ now than it did when Martha was in this world.And I know that as long as I live,I will ¡¡20¡¡ her.
