Fortunately,PrateekmetVinayYadav,anothereducatedfarmer.Theythendecidedtostarttheirownvaluechainandselltheirvegetablesandgrains,whileskippingthemiddlemen.Thevarietyofvegetablestheygrewwasn‘tenough,sotheydecidedtoformagroupoffarmers.
Oncetheplanwasready,thegroupwasregisteredbythenameofFarmerProducerOrganization(FPO).However,thetrialfailedinthefirstyearasmostofthefarmersweregraingrowersandhadlimitedknowledgeofgrowingvegetables.However,thelargestreasonwastheswitchtoorganicfromchemical.
