Every spring, white pear flowers stretch (延伸) for about 100 sq km along the former routes of the Zhanghe River. Handan is located in southern Hebei, 430 km from Beijing. Besides the natural scenery surrounding Taihang Mountain in the west, it has two national forest parks and a national geological (地质的) park.
