冠词用法
Ⅰ.表示类别表示名词类别时可用3种形式：不定冠词、定冠词或名词复数。如:
A dog is a faithful animal或The dog is a faithful animal或 Dogs are faithful animals.
II.不定冠词的用法
1.不定冠词a用在以辅音音素开头的词前，an用在以元音音素开头的词前。如：a university, a European country, a useless tool, a unit, a uniform, a U.S. writer; an ugly man, an umbrella；a half hour; an hour; an honor; an honest boy; a one-act play; an ox; an m; an SOS等。
翻译：在单词our中，有一个o字母，一个u字母和一个r字母。

2.一般用在单数可数名词前表示one, the same, every；用在某些物质名词前或抽象名词前表示“一种、一类、一份、一阵、一场等。1）They are of an age. 2）I earn 10 dollars an hour as a salesman.
3）”That’s a green tea.4）They were caught in a heavy rain. 5）It is a great pleasure to have a talk with you.
3用于某人姓名前，表示“某个名叫……的人”；用于星期中的某一天的名称前，表示“某星期几”; 相当于a certain, some。 1）He died on a Sunday. 2) A Mr. Smith is waiting for you outside.
4不定冠词的特殊位置：A.放在so/as/too/how/however等副词修饰的形容词的后面（adj.+ a/an单数名词）
